teles_cs - Teles S0/PCMCIA driver module
automatically started by cardmgr(1).
teles_cs is a VERY simple module, it sets up the card´s
configuration register to work with hisax and prints out a
message to syslog indicating used port and irq. Please put
this information into /etc/pcmcia/teles.opt and restart
/etc/pcmcia/teles. See BUGS below.
/etc/pcmcia/teles
startup script
/etc/pcmcia/teles.opt
option file
cardmgr(1), hisaxctrl(8), PCMCIA-HOWTO,
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/isdn/README.HiSax
see PCMCIA-HOWTO section 6.2. Low level PCMCIA debugging
aids.
Look at your syslog !!!
If it looks like ... cardmgr[872]: unsupported card in
socket 0 ... cardmgr[872]: version info: "TELES", "S0/PC",
"21", "0000" you have to patch /etc/pcmcia/config. See
README.teles_cs for details.
up to now you have to copy the line teles_cs prints to
syslog into /etc/pcmcia/teles.opt, since irq and port
adress is not forwarded to hisax. This is due to change,
any design proposals are welcome.
Proposed design: allocate IRQ and PORT within teles_cs,
let HiSax read them out of the proc filesystem (there are
routines within the kernel to do this).
